eng: The mural, by Serbian artist Jana Danilović[1], portrays Mitra Mitrović - a feminist, partisan, editor of the 1930's magazine Woman Today (Žena danas), co-founder of the Youth Section of the Women's Movement, and Yugoslavia's first Minister of Education after World War II. Danilović describes the work as a reminder that the freedoms enjoyed today were won through the efforts of people like Mitrović and must continue to be defended. Completed in late 2024, the mural was the final piece in a series of ten murals dedicated to notable women from Serbia's history. The series spans several cities across the country, with three murals located in central Belgrade and others in Grocka, Novi Sad, Kruševac, Kragujevac, Niš, Aleksinac, and Tutin.
